Description
The LOC universal optical reader is a vital metering and programming element for CIRWATT meters.
Applications
The optical reader is a two-directional infrared interface with galvanic insulation. When connected to the serial port or USB of a PC, it allows the communications with meters or any other device, in compliance with the IEC 1107:1996 international Standard. The reader does not require an external power supply, obtaining the energy required for the communications through the PC.
