Background / objectives

Our conciliatory Elexpert has designed a system with various objectives:

• Maximum demand management: controls consumption and prevents exceeding the power contracted from the utility company, disconnecting non-essential lines such as air conditioning.

• Real time control of energy, power quality and other critical electrical parameters (harmonics, leakage current)

• Controls and prevents unwanted tripping in the general switch of antennas and remote installations, sends an SMS in case incidents are detected

General description

Various units are being installed for different purposes:

• QNA network quality units with GPRS installed remotely sends all consumption data and incidents to a central server

• CVMk2 measurement units and the PowerStudio management software

• Motorised automatic reclosing units allow the switch to reconnect when the leakage or the overload of the installation disappears with no need to send staff to the site
